Studied at the P. A. Vlasov Art College, Astrakhan (1979–1983) in the Department of Painting; A. V. Kondratiev’s studio, Leningrad (1985–1987); A. P. Zaitsev’s studio (1985–1987). Exhibited since 1987. Member of the Kochevie (Nomads) group (1987). Taught at Abramtsevo College of Art and Design, Moscow Region (1983–1985). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1985). Main collections: Museum of Nonconformist Art (St Petersburg), State art museums in Astrakhan, Saransk, Yaroslavl.
