Studied at Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design in the Department of Artistic Ceramics (1946–1951). Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1953). Worked as an artist at the Leningrad Artistic Glassworks (1951–1959); the Applied Art Workshops of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Art Fund (from 1960). Awarded the I. Ye. Repin State Prize of the RSFSR (1979). Main collections: All-Russian Decorative, Applied and Folk Art Museum (Moscow), State Hermitage (St Petersburg), Sergiev Posad State History and Art Museum-Reserve, State art museums of Kazan, Kursk, Novosibirsk, Petrozavodsk, Ryazan, Samara, Taganrog and others.
