Painter, architect
Studied at the Repin Institute of Arts (1992–1998) in the Faculty of Architecture. Exhibited since 1987. Member of the Mitki group (1987–1993), the USSR Union of Artists (1989), Architects’ Union of Russia (2017). Head and chief architect of the R. N. Muraviev Architecture Studio (1999–2007) and of the company Archont (since 2007); Deacon in the Russian Orthodox Church (since 2016). Taught at St Petersburg Institute of Applied Arts (2000– 2005), teaches at St Petersburg State University (since 2010). Lives and works in St Petersburg. Main collections: Royal Museum of Fine Arts (Antwerp, Belgium), Art Museum of Estonia (Tallinn, Estonia), Kunsthalle Bremen (Germany), National Museum of Fine Arts (Stockholm, Sweden).
