Painter, graphic artist, architect, theatre artist
Studied at VKhUTEIN, Pg–L (1924–1927). Exhibited from 1933. Member of the Union of Soviet Architects (1933). Worked as an architect at the Gorstroiproekt (1951–1955) and Gidroproekt (1955–1968) Research Institutes, Leningrad. Taught at Leningrad Art College (second half of the 1940s), Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (late 1940s–1951). WWII veteran, awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals For the Defence of Leningrad and For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945. Main collections: A. S. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, ROSIZO (both Moscow), All- Russian Museum of A. S.
