Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1961–1966); the Repin Institute of Arts (1971–1973) in the Faculty of Painting. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1990). Main collections: State Russian Museum (St Petersburg), State art museums in Kazan, Petrozavodsk, Ulyanovsk and Yoshkar-Ola.
