Studied at the Amateur Art Studio of the House of Medical Workers, Leningrad (1982) under V. I. Suvorov; A. I. Herzen State Pedagogical Institute, Leningrad (1982–1989) in the Faculty of Art and Graphic Design. Exhibited since 1986. Member art associations Soiuz No. 0 (1986–1989), St Petersburg Artists’ Union (1994), Association of Art Critics (2003), St Petersburg Society of Watercolourists (1997–2011). Taught at St Petersburg State University of Technology and Design (2003–2012, 2018–2019), St Petersburg State Forestry University (2017–2019), Russian State Pedagogical University (2020–2021). Main collections: ROSIZO, State Museum of V. V. Mayakovsky (both Moscow), State art museums in Astrakhan, Kazan, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Ufa, Yelabuga.
