Studied at the Repin Institute of Arts as an undergraduate in the Faculty of Art Theory and History (1953–1956) and the Faculty of Painting (1956–1962) under V. M. Oreshnikov, and a postgraduate (1962–1965) under V. M. Oreshnikov and B. S. Ugarov. Exhibited from 1964. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1965). Main collections: ROSIZO, State Museum of V. V.
