Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1949–1956); the Repin Institute of Arts (1956–1962) in the Faculty of Painting under Ye. Ye. Moiseenko; the Creative Workshop of the USSR Academy of Arts (1962–1966) under A. A. Mylnikov. Exhibited from 1961. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1962).
