Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1949–1956); the Repin Institute of Arts (1956–1962) in the Faculty of Painting under Ye. Ye. Moiseenko; the Creative Workshop of the USSR Academy of Arts (1962–1966) under A. A. Mylnikov. Exhibited from 1961. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1962). Main collections: ROSIZO (Moscow), Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts, State Russian Museum (both St Petersburg), Staraya Ladoga History, Architecture and Archaeology Museum-Reserve, State art museums in Achinsk, Irkutsk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Kostroma, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg and others.
