Studied at the Art Studio of the Moskovsky District Palace of Pioneers, Leningrad (1952– 1955) under S. D. Levin; Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1955–1963); the Repin Institute of Arts (1963–1972) in the Faculty of Painting under I. A. Serebriany. Exhibited from 1975. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1975). Taught at Leningrad Art College (1972–1975). Main collections: Burganov House Moscow State Museum (Moscow), State Literary and Memorial Museum of F. M. Dostoevsky, State Museum of the History of St Petersburg, State Russian Museum (all St Petersburg), State art museums in Kazan, Novosibirsk and Pskov.
