Studied at Krasnodar Art College (1980–1984) in the Department of Scenic Painting; the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1986–1987) in the Faculty of Production Design; Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1988–1993) in the Department of Monumental and Decorative Painting. Exhibited since 1987. Member of the Artists’ Union of Russia (1994). Worked as a set and production designer at the Lenfilm studio (2003–2005, 2016–2017), artistic director of the Den Dostoevskogo (Dostoevsky Day) Festival in St Petersburg (2010–2017). Taught at St Petersburg State Academy of Art and Design (1998–2001), the Pro Arte Foundation (2010–2011). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1988). Main collections: F. A. Kovalenko Regional Art Museum (Krasnodar).
