Studied at Kuibyshev Agricultural Institute (1959–1964); Kuibyshev Aviation Institute (1965–1968); Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1968–1973) in the Faculty of Industrial Art. Exhibited from 1975. Member of the St Petersburg Society of Watercolourists (2001), the St Petersburg Union of Artists (2006). Worked at Kuibyshev Bearing Factory (1951–1955, 1959–1967); in the training workshops of Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1968–1969); as a designer at the Riabovo Ceramics Works, Leningrad Region (1970–1973); at Leningrad Civil Aviation Academy (1974–1976); in the field of jewellery design (1972–1990).
