Studied at the Amateur Art Studio in the House of Medical Workers, Leningrad (1975) under V. I. Suvorov; Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1977– 1982) in the Faculty of Design. Exhibited since 1984. Member of the Mitki group (1984–1992), the USSR Union of Artists (1988), IFA (1991). Author and participant of the Semichov&Kuzmin project (1992–2017). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1966). Main collections: Museum of the New Academy of Fine Arts, State Russian Museum, Tsarskoe Selo Collection Museum (all St Petersburg), Artistic Culture of the Russian North State Museum Association (Arkhangelsk), Siberian Contemporary Art Centre (Novosibirsk).
