Studied at Yerevan State Institute of Art and Theatre (1957–1962); Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1965–1971) in the Department of Monumental and Decorative Sculpture. Exhibited since 1974. Member of the USSR Union of Artists – Artists’ Union of Russia (1974–2010), the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1974). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1965) and Yerevan, Armenia. Main collections: National Gallery of Armenia (Yerevan).
