Sculptor, painter, graphic, applied artist
Studied at Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1944–1952) in the Faculty of Monumental and Decorative Art under V. I. Ingal, V. L. Simonov and V. V. Ellonen. Exhibited since 1956. Member of the Leningrad Union of Soviet Artists (1954). Worked as an artist at Farfor (Porcelain) Leningrad Experimental Factory attached to the State Ceramics Research Institute (1954–1957), at Lenigrushka and Promigrushka toy factories (1955–1972). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1936). Main collections: All-Russian Decorative, Applied and Folk Art Museum, State Museum of V. V. Mayakovsky (both Moscow), All-Russian Museum of A. S. Pushkin, State Hermitage, State Literary and Memorial Museum of Anna Akhmatova at the Fountain House, State Museum of Theatre and Music, State Museum of Urban Sculpture, State Russian Museum, Tsarskoe Selo Collection Museum (all St Petersburg), State art museums in Arkhangelsk, Bryansk, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Tagil, Novosibirsk, Perm, Veliky Novgorod and others; Corcoran Gallery of Art (Washington DC, USA).
