Studied at Leningrad Art College (1955–1960) in the Faculty of Sculpture under L. K. Valts, V. M. Sudakov and G. A. Glagoleva; Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1963–1968) in the Department of Monumental and Decorative Sculpture under V. I. Ingal and P. A. Yakimovich. Exhibited since 1970. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1973). Worked as a restorer in the State Russian Museum (1962–1963) in the Department of Applied Art; as an artist at the Experimental Sculpture Manufacturing Workshops of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Art Fund (1969–1990). Taught at the House of Pioneers and Schoolchildren of the Oktiabrsky District, Leningrad (1968–1969). Lived and worked in St Petersburg (1935–1997) before moving to Boston, USA, in 1997.
