Studied at Leningrad Art College (1973–1977) under V. S. Novikov. Exhibited since 1975. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1985), the Ozerki – Derevnia khudozhnikov (Artists’ Village) association (1987). Lives and works in St Petersburg.
