Studied at Leningrad Art College (1973–1977) under V. S. Novikov. Exhibited since 1975. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1985), the Ozerki – Derevnia khudozhnikov (Artists’ Village) association (1987). Lives and works in St Petersburg. Main collections: State Literary and Memorial Museum of Anna Akhmatova at the Fountain House, State Russian Museum (both St Petersburg), Yaroslavl State History, Architecture and Art Museum-Reserve; National Library of Finland (Helsinki), Bibliothèque Nationale de France (Paris), British Library (London, UK).
