Studied at the S. A. Chuikov Kirghiz State Art College, Frunze (1957–1961); the Repin Institute of Arts (1962–1968) in the Faculty of Painting under A. A. Mylnikov. Exhibited from 1961. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1975). Creator of monumental works for public buildings in St Petersburg and other cities in Russia, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. Taught at Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1968–1971). Main collections: Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art (St Petersburg); G. Aitiev Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan).
