Sculptor, graphic artist, painter, theatre and applied artist
Studied at the P. P. Chistiakov Children’s Art School, Sverdlovsk (1975–1978); Sverdlovsk Art College (1978–1982); the Repin Institute of Arts (1982–1988) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under V. A. Vetrogonsky, concurrently in the Faculty of Sculpture under M. K. Anikushin. Exhibited since 1981. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists (1990). Worked at the Applied Art and Sculpture Workshops (1986–2012); the Imperial Porcelain Factory (since 2013). Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation (2012). Associate member of the International Academy Greci- Marino (2002). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1982). Main collections: Central Naval Museum, Museum of Circus Art, National Library of Russia, S. P. Diaghilev Museum of Contemporary Art, State Hermitage, State Museum of the History of St Petersburg, State Museum of Theatre and Music, State Museum of Urban Sculpture, State Russian Museum (all St Petersburg), State art museums in Irbit, Kaliningrad, Kostroma, Magnitogorsk, Penza, Stary Oskol, Veliky Novgorod and others.
