Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1957–1964); the Repin Institute of Arts (1965–1971) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under M. A. Taranov. Exhibited since 1971. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1977). Chaired the Poster Section of the St Petersburg Union of Artists (2011–2019). Worked in the Graphic Art Workshops of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Art Fund (1975–1994); for the publishing houses Lenizdat, Khudozhnik RSFSR (Artist of the RSFSR), Plakat (Poster), Prosveschenie (Education) and others. Lives and works in St Petersburg. Main collections: National Library of Russia, State Russian Museum (both St Petersburg), Georgievsk Museum of History and Local Studies (Stavropol Territory).
