Studied at Ordzhonikidze Art College (1973–1977); the Repin Institute of Arts (1977–1984) in the Faculty of Painting under Ye. Ye. Moiseenko. Exhibited since 1984. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1986). Lived and worked in Leningrad (1977–1991), since 1991 in France. Main collections: State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), State Russian Museum (St Petersburg), M. S. Tuganov North Ossetian State Art Museum (Vladikavkaz).
