Studied at Moscow State Art College (1980–1984); Moscow State Art Institute (1984–1990) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under N. A. Ponomarev. Exhibited since 1981. Member of the Moscow Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1991). Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts (2018). Lives and works in Moscow and Tarusa. Main collections: State Russian Museum (St Petersburg), A. N. Radischev State Art Museum (Saratov), Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts, Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts.
