Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1953–1956); the Art Studio of the V. I. Lenin Palace of Culture (late 1950s – early 1960s) under F. S. Lembersky. Exhibited since 1974. Member of the Association for Experimental Exhibitions (1975–1981), the Association of Experimental Fine Art (1981–1989). Worked as an artist-decorator at the V. I. Lenin Nevsky Heavy Machine-Building Works, a trolleybus depot, the Bolshevik Metallurgical Works (1958–1963). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1953). Main collections: Central Museum of Communications, Museum of Nonconformist Art, State Hermitage, State Museum of Urban Sculpture, State Russian Museum, Tsarskoe Selo Collection Museum (all St Petersburg), State art museums in Astrakhan, Khabarovsk, Nizhny Tagil, Novokuznetsk, Samara, Serpukhov, Tolyatti and others.
