Studied at Odessa Maritime College (1974–1977); the Repin Institute of Arts (1986–1989) in the Faculty of Sculpture under S. A. Kubasov; Norfolk Institute of Art and Design, UK (1989). Exhibited since 1988. Member of the Poehl Pharmacy Mansard art group (1988), the Leningrad Association of Free Artists (1990). Lived and worked in Leningrad (1977–1991), emigrated from the USSR, based in London, UK, since 1991. Main collections: State Russian Museum (St Petersburg); Cleveland Museum of Art (USA).
