Studied at Kaliningrad Technical Institute of Fishing Industry and Economy (1960); Leningrad State University (1969–1976) in the Faculty of History. Exhibited from 1983. Member of the Association of Experimental Fine Art (1982), the Fifth Quarter group (1984), the Group of Seven (1985), the Free Culture Humanitarian Foundation (1992). Worked at the Museum of the History of St Petersburg as a guide, then as a senior researcher (1972–1993). Main collections: Moscow Museum of Modern Art (Moscow), S. P.
