Painter, graphic artist, sculptor
Studied at Penza Art College (1938–1942); the Repin Institute of Arts (1952–1958) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under A. F. Pakhomov and L. F. Ovsiannikov. Exhibited from 1958. Member of the Leningrad Union of Soviet Artists (1958), the Old Peterhof School – Sterligov School (1963–1965). Worked as a printmaker in the etching workshop of the Repin Institute of Arts (1948–1952). WWII veteran, awarded medals For Merit in Battle, For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945, For the Victory over Japan. Main collections: A. S. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, State Tretyakov Gallery (both Moscow), Institute of Russian Literature, National Library of Russia, State Russian Museum, Tsarskoe Selo Collection Museum (all St Petersburg), State art museums in Istra, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Petrozavodsk, Saratov, Sevastopol, Vologda, Yaroslavl and others.
