Painter, graphic, theatre artist
Studied at the Repin Institute of Arts (1959–1965) in the Faculty of Painting. Exhibited from 1971. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1972). Worked as chief production designer of the Krasnoyarsk Theatre for Young Spectators and the Novokuznetsk Drama Theatre (1968–1971); chief production designer of the Leningrad Circus – Bolshoi St Petersburg State Circus (1971–1994); production designer in theatres in St Petersburg, Novgorod, Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Rostov, Stavropol, Tallinn (Estonia) and elsewhere. Main collections: State Central Theatre Museum (Moscow), Museum of Circus Art, St Petersburg State Theatre Library, State Literary and Memorial Museum of Anna Akhmatova at the Fountain House, State Museum of the History of St Petersburg, State Museum of Theatre and Music, State Russian Museum, Tsarskoe Selo Collection Museum (all St Petersburg), State art museums in Bryansk, Krasnoyarsk and Vologda.
