Studied at the secondary school No. 190 affiliated with Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1962– 1965); Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1965–1970) in the Faculty of Industrial Art under V. V. Vatenin, V. I. Rakhina and V. I. Suvorov. Exhibited since 1968. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1979), co-founder and member of the Deti Arkhipa Kuindzhi (Children of Arkhip Kuindzhi) association (1999). Worked as an artist for the publishing houses Detgiz, Spetsliteratura (Special Literature), Redkaia kniga iz Sankt-Peterburga (Rare Books from St Petersburg) and Vita Nova (since 1974). Lives and works in St Petersburg. Main collections: A. S. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, State Tretyakov Gallery (both Moscow), All-Russian Museum of A. S. Pushkin, Museum of the History of Religion, National Library of Russia, Peterhof State Museum-Reserve, S. P. Diaghilev Museum of Contemporary Art, State Hermitage, State Russian Museum (all St Petersburg), State History and Literature Museum- Reserve of A. S. Pushkin (Moscow Region), State art museums in Bryansk, Izhevsk, Kaliningrad, Magnitogorsk, Ryazan, Vologda, Vyatka and others.
