Studied at K. F. Yuon’s studio (1907–1910); Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1910–1912) under K. A. Korovin; the Stroganov Central School of Art and Design as an external student (1910–1912). Exhibited from 1915. Member of Vsekokhudozhnik (1930–1937), the Moscow Branch of the Union of Soviet Artists (1940). Worked as a textile artist in Vsekokhudozhnik (1930–1937).
