Studied at Leningrad Art College (1971–1975) under S. A. Kirpichev; the Sculpture Studio at the Education Workers’ Palace of Culture, Leningrad (1975–1981) under S. P. Mosevich; A. I. Herzen State Pedagogical Institute (1984–1989). Exhibited since 1982. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1988), the Ozerki – Derevnia khudozhnikov (Artists’ Village) association(1989). Taught at the Sculpture Studio of the Education Workers’ Palace of Culture (1981–1984); worked as a designer at the Riabovo Ceramics Factory, Leningrad Region (1984–1990), the Applied Art and Sculpture Workshops of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Art Fund (1987–1989). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1969). Main collections: State Russian Museum (St Petersburg), Perm State Art Gallery.
