Studied at Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1977–1982) in the Department of Monumental and Decorative Painting under V. G. Lekanov. Exhibited since 1983. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1990), IFA (2010). Taught at the Institute of Applied Art (2000–2003); Associate Professor at St Petersburg State Academy – University of Service and Economics (2004–2012); Associate Professor at St Petersburg State University of Economics (2012–2017); taught at St Petersburg State Academy of Art and Design (2012–2015). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1973). Main collections: State Museum of the History of St Petersburg (St Petersburg), State art museums in Arkhangelsk, Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Ryazan and Stary Oskol.
