Painter, graphic artist
Studied at the Urals College of Applied Art, Nizhny Tagil (1964–1968); Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1972–1977) in the Department of Interior Decoration and Furnishings. Exhibited since 1982. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1988), the St Petersburg Academy of Contemporary Art association (1994). Worked as an artist in the Experimental Workshop of Decorative, Applied and Monumental Art of the Glavleningradstroi directorate (1977–1984); an architect in the Display and Design Sector of the Hermitage (1985–1987). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1972). Main collections: Gogol House, Moscow Museum of Modern Art (both Moscow), S. P. Diaghilev Museum of Contemporary Art, State Literary and Memorial Museum of Anna Akhmatova at the Fountain House, State Literary and Memorial Museum of F. M. Dostoevsky, State Museum of Urban Sculpture, State Russian Museum, Tsarskoe Selo Collection Museum (all St Petersburg), State art museums in Irbit, Kazan, Nizhny Tagil, Novokuznetsk, Perm, Samara, Vladivostok and others.
