At the mediation tour children will get acquainted with amazing works by Yevgeny Barsky dedicated to the cosmos and volcanoes. We shall discuss what natural phenomena became a source of inspiration for the artist, consider different painting techniques and colour schemes. Young visitors will easily understand all the artistic subtleties of the presented works due to the conversational format of the event and exciting interactive tasks. The session will end with a workshop on dry pastel painting, and the children will create their own landscapes inspired by the atmosphere of the cosmic expanses, images of high cliffs and steaming volcanoes.

Recommended for children aged 8–12.

Materials for the workshop will be provided by the museum.
