Art mediation allows participants not only to learn important facts about the artist's work and biography, but also to share in a live dialogue their impressions of the viewed artworks. Children will discuss together with the tutor Rashid Dominov's colourful works, which recreate an amazing world matching fantasy and reality. We shall pay particular attention to the study of colour: what feelings and emotions are associated with different shades and their combinations? What are “accents” and “contrasts”? How to choose a colour palette for your drawing?

After mastering new knowledge in the joint discussion, the children will choose their favourite pieces by Rashid Dominov and create their own graphic works using the artist’s colour scheme. Refined images and subjects related to book illustration and the world of theatre will serve as inspiration to the young artists.
