VERNISSAGE OF THE EXHIBITION “MAN – LIFE – UNIVERSE. CONTRAST OF JUXTAPOSITIONS”

On 13th November, Museum of 20th–21st Century Art of St Petersburg hosted the grand opening of the exhibition Man – Life – Universe. Contrast of Juxtapositions in its building at 103, Griboyedov Canal Embankment. This ambitious inter-museum project was organised to celebrate the museum's 10th anniversary.

The gathering was addressed by A. A. Alexandrov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Culture, K. E. Sukhenko, Representative of the Governor of St Petersburg in the Legislative Assembly, G. A. Abelev, Vice President of St Petersburg Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, member of the MASP Friends’ Club, A. L. Yalova, director of the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege", V. A. Grigoriev, general director of the State Museum of the History of St Petersburg, M. B. Dzhigarkhanyan, director of the Museum of 20th–21st Century Art of St Petersburg and O. N. Tolstaya, curator of the exhibition.
