Guided tours of the Point of View project are conducted by experts from different fields not related to the world of art – they share their impressions of the exhibited works through the prism of their professional experience.
There will be a special meeting at Yevgeny Barsky’s exhibition The Star Matter with volcanologist Vladimir Kirianov, Candidate of Sciences (geology), author of scholarly publications and traveller, who has been around many volcanoes.
The specialist will tell us what happens in the very heart of the earth, how ‘fire-breathing mountains’ live and extinct. After an informative introductory part we shall go to Yevgeny Barsky’s exhibition and consider how the artist rendered the particularities of volcanic processes in his colourful and emotional works.
