For the first time in exhibition practice, the Light and Air project offers a chance to view Soviet art through the prism of cultural thinking, taste and aesthetics of Impressionism.
At the event, which is part of the cycle Point of View, you will be presented with an opportunity to look at the exhibits from 27 Russian museums from a "musical" angle. Stanislava Malakhovskaya, an artist, great-granddaughter of the painter Nathan Altman, book illustrator, art historian and musician, will take visitors on a tour of the exhibition and will try to reflect its mood with the help of her favourite musical instruments, thus merging fine art and music in the museum space.
