At the workshop, children will get acquainted with such art genre as still life looking at Yulia Ivanova’s works in her exhibition “Growing from Shape”. Young visitors will learn that a still life can be constructed, that objects in it interact and communicate with each other – almost like people in life. Children together with the teacher will discuss composition of the artist's paintings, see how colour and light influence the prevailing mood in them.

Then, in the lecture room, children will try to design their own still lifes, which they can sketch and keep as a souvenir.
