Watercolour paints have been familiar to everyone since childhood – it is an accessible and convenient material for the first creative experiments. Yet when handled by an experienced artist it acquires striking pictorial qualities, turns into a tool for conveying delicate tonal transitions and graceful lines that allow one to create exquisite works.
A workshop on creating watercolours will be held by the artist Daniil Troianov, a graduate of St Petersburg State Academy of
Art and Design and a pupil of the renowned Petersburg painter Anatoly Zaslavsky. He will reveal to the participants the special features of Oscar Klever’s watercolours and will give a lesson, at which he will teach the basics of drawing and the subtleties of working with watercolour.
