Visitors will get acquainted with amazing world of animals, from elephant to ant, represented in the twentieth and twenty-first century visual arts. They will be told stories how portraits of the most restless and sometimes ferocious models were made. Can birds and animals think? What are their souls and feelings, is it better for them to live with people or in the wild? Olga Tolstaya, the curator of the exhibition, will tell about various situations represented in paintings, sculptures and graphic works.
